Our clinic is open!

Closely following health authority guidelines, we have implemented necessary safety measures to ensure our staff and patients’ health.

Our safety measures include rigorous cleaning schedules, health screening, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and physical distancing protocols.

We ask patients to follow our new mandatory clinic guidelines: All patients must complete the Mandatory COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire prior to every appointment at the clinic. Patients are required to arrive on time for their appointment (not early or late) to reduce contact with others in the clinic. Please do not bring anyone with you unless you have mobility limitations that require assistance. Patients are required to wear a face mask in order to receive treatment. If you do not have a face mask, disposable masks are available for $1.00 at the front desk. Staff are required to wear a face mask in order to administer treatment and services to the public. Use of hand sanitizer is required upon entry to the clinic and after treatment. Waiting and reception desk areas are marked with social distancing signage. Areas that patients come into contact with will be sanitized by clinic staff (POS machine, treatment tables, etc.).

If you have symptoms of a cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath or flu-like symptoms, please Stay Home - this is for your safety and others around you.

If you begin to feel unwell leading up to your appointment, we ask that you contact us immediately to reschedule.

Please be advised that appointments cancelled with 24 hours, and missed appointments, are subject to a cancellation fee covering the full treatment cost of the session.

Acupuncture is a natural healing practice derived from traditional Chinese medicine. Fine needles with smooth, rounded tips glide gently through the space between individual tissue cells, accessing carefully selected ‘acupoints’ on the body to adjust the flow of life energy, or ‘Qi’ and correct patterns of disharmony.

Traditional Eastern medicine takes the approach that we become ill when our body is out of balance, or something blocks our energy flow. When acupuncture stimulates specific points along the energy channels that connect all the major organs, blockages are released, and the body’s natural healing ability can take over.

Western medicine has also acknowledged the benefits of acupuncture on the body’s physiological processes. Acupoints are located in high concentrations of nerve bundles and nerve endings, mast cells (used for immune response), lymphatic ducts, and capillaries. When they are stimulated by acupuncture, results include improved physiologic function, enhanced immunity, and better sleep patterns.
